Last month Oakleigh Park hosted their very 1st England Squash sanctioned tournament; below are just a few of the lovely comments received:
“I think OP was a fantastic venue, much better than Southgate. Table tennis and TV being great distractions whilst waiting for next match!”
“thank you very much for hosting the tournament!! Very well organised and a very welcoming club team 🙂 The food was great too and nice that they stayed open for the duration of the tournament.”
“The boys thoroughly enjoyed it. Especially the table tennis and provision of hot food and snacks. It ran smoothly, thanks for a great day :)”
“Bar was good, food was great (those ladies worked very hard and sold good value grub!)”
“The day flowed! Great to see the juniors enjoying themselves. The club were very welcoming and provided great food and tea!”
Well done once again to all those involved!
Note: If you didn’t Opt in before Friday 23rd Feb you cannot take part in the club ballot?
Please email the office or contact the tennis committee if you have any queries regarding this?.
Many congratulations to David Bennett who was crowned winner of the U16s in the Racketlon English Open last weekend hosted at Redbridge Leisure Centre! He played some tough matches but his solid squash performances (21-3, 21-4 & 21-3) saw him through, improving on last year’s 2nd place.
